We were so honored to get to play the Scott Joplin Memorial Concert at St. Michaels Cemetery where Scott Joplin is buried! The Featured band was Dan Levinson's Roof Garden Jass Band, Me and my Ragged Jazz Band played the halftime segment, with Charlie Judkins on Piano & Brian Nalepka on Bass. We played several songs from the era but also a song called "Sarah Dear" written by Scott Joplin in 1905. I attached a video of us playing "Sarah Dear"! it is a beautiful song- Full of heart and warmth!
